Award Winning Bryson Practice Learning Centres


We want to take this opportunity to congratulate Siobhan and Caoimhe from Bryson Care – Practice Learning Centres in Belfast and Derry who were the winners of the Ulster University Impact Excellence Award for their work in supporting the next generation of Social Workers.


Pictured accepting the award on behalf of Bryson Care is  Caoimhe Harkin-Mac Dermott, Practice Learning Centre Manager based in Derry alongside Marion Mc Bride who is an independent practice teacher who works with Bryson. Siobhan Wylie, Bryson Practice Learning Centre Manager in Belfast was unable to attend the event but was delighted to receive the award and recognition of the work delivered.

Leading organisations across a wide range of sectors were recognised for their commitment to pioneering research and graduate employability at Ulster University’s second annual Impact Excellence Awards.

The Awards celebrate the transformational impact the university’s students, graduates and research are having on societies and economies across the globe.

The event, which took place at Titanic Belfast during May, recognised the University’s collaborations with partners in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, both locally and globally
